Terms & Conditions
RENTAL PERIOD
The minimum rental period is three days. This price also includes 2 free hours after the specified drop-off period. After this time we are required to charge for an additional full day, even if you have been delayed. Please contact us to enquire about our prices for longer rental periods.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
HolicarSpain accepts the main credit cards
The payment will be processed at the moment of picking the vehicle up.
At your arrival you will be required to leave your credit card with us as a guarantee.
DRIVERS
The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years old and the driver must have held a license for a minimum of 1 year (for the more expensive vehicles in our fleet, the minimum age is 25 years old with 2 years experience).
PICKING UP / DROPPING OFF
This
is a free service when picking up or dropping off at Malaga airport
or to any other location in Malaga city, Andalucia. An additional charge of 40 € will apply, if clients wish to
pick-up or drop-off the car anywhere else (within the area
between Nerja & Estepona) and clients will be required to provide
the full address and time when making the booking. Pick-up or drop-off
elsewhere in the province may also be possible, however please enquire
in advance.
NIGHT TIMETABLE
If the client picks up the car between 20:00 and 08:00 an additional charge of 24 € will apply.
INSURANCE
All
holiday car hire prices include fully comprehensive insurance,
theft of car (not the contents), personal insurance and unlimited
civil responsibility. As you would expect from a 1st class rental
service, our insurance provides some additional services like emergency
accommodation in case of breakdown or accident, free transport to
your accommodation from the place you had broken down or had the
accident and 24 hour breakdown assistance 365 days a year, etc.
All included in the rental price.
The tyres and punctures are NOT covered by the insurance
The Excess damage charge depends on the group of vehicle hired (see attached table) and is applicable when our vehicle has been damaged during the rental period. The client will be liable for the appropriate Excess damage charge should any damage occur.
COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES
PICKING UP FROM MÁLAGA AIRPORT
The clients who have arranged to collect their vehicle from Málaga airport will need to go to the main door and look for the representative of HolicarSpain who will be carrying a sign displaying the client's name.
Please do not follow the signs directing you to rental cars, as this would take you to another place where you will only find the multinational car rental companies.
To pick up your vehicle elsewhere in the Costa del Sol please enquire HolicarSpain.
DROPPING OFF AT MÁLAGA AIRPORT
The client will be required to drop
off the rental car in the public car park situated at the front of
Terminal T2 (Parking T2). Please lock all doors and leave the keys
with the parking ticket inside the boot. We will then come to collect
the vehicle and pay for the parking ticket.
Please do not park the vehicle anywhere else at the airport, or it is likely that it will be removed by a tow-truck.
